It was a drive-by visit to Vail early one morning as we transited from one main stop to the next. Since it was early in the day, the only business open was the coffee shop, thank goodness. Next door was a clothing store that was preparing to open for the day and they rolled out a sales rack of clearance ski-wear. The low sun and the shadows from surrounding buildings gave an interesting spotlight effect to the merchandise andI was lucky to capture the moment...
