Lunenburg is an historic fishing village first settled in the 1700's. Its brightly painted homes and businesses charmed us and the story of the legendary racing fishing schooner Bluenose thrilled our imaginations. After our walking tour of the town, we stopped for fish 'n chips at a restaurant on the waterfront. This collection of colorful buoys hangs on the exterior wall of the building near the outdoor dining area where we sat.
