On the first morning after arriving in Lima, we took a walk around the neighborhood of our hotel after breakfast. This short walk, literally around the block, allowed me to capture 2 of my favorite images of our tour or Peru, including Machu Picchu: this bold front wall of a local business and the front door of a local residence (see "When a Tree Comes Knocking"). You never know when you will see an interesting opportunity "out of the corner of your eye".
