On the morning of a night out fishing, waters off the coast of Lima were too rough for further fishing. The local fishermen grounded their boats on the beach and were spending the morning maintaining their boats. Later that day, the weather worsened and the fishing pier was flooded over, sending the fishermen and fish market workers to higher ground.
