The evening immediately preceding the arrival of Tropical Storm Hermine in Bluffton, SC was as calm and quiet as the overnight onset of the storm was noisy. Fortunately, it was a glancing blow, nowhere near as impactful as Hurricane Matthew, which struck the area only one month later.
