This image is my favorite from our river cruise in Bordeaux, France. Of course, we enjoyed tasing great wines and wonderful food - that goes without saying! But the quaint little towns and villages we visited that are at the center of my memories of the trip. In this case, we were on a walking tour of the little town of Bourg-bur-Gironde, heading for the town square and its shops and cafes. The walk took us past this scene of a home with the colorful blanket hanging out over the window sill - an idyllic life in Bordeaux!
