You can probably tell that some of my favorite things to photograph are colorful subjects, reflections and, in particular, Christmas trees. This image combines all three... It happens that where our Christmas tree is placed on our home allows its lights to be reflected in multiple windows, including this reflection in the dining room window looking out on the lake. The appearance that the Christmas tree is floating above the water inspired the title.
