Description
Albuquerque, New Mexico
October 2021
On the final evening of the 2021 Albuquerque Balloon Festival, we were hoping that high winds that had canceled the mass ascension of the balloons earlier in the day would have subsided to allow the evening "Glow" - an after dark colorful internal lighting of the inflated balloons on the ground. Out luck was not good as evidenced by the cloud layer we observed as the sun set. This shot was taken several minutes after the sun had set - and the sky still looked pretty angry!
