Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. For several years, I had been looking for the opportunity to photograph this building in Long Island City, with its reflective facade and 3-dimensional architectural features - balconies, I presume. On the day of a blessed family event, it proved to be a good distraction as my wife and I awaited good news.
