My photographs feature vivid colors, striking patterns and textures and unique images resulting from reflections on water or glass or by simply aiming my camera lens up or down. I also enjoy creating abstract images through motion, unfocused subjects and close-up shots. Many of my photographs have been taken while traveling within the US and abroad to locations such as the Bahamas, Chile, Spain, Italy, Costa Rica, China Iceland and Ireland. Several of my photographs have won awards in community photography competitions.

"Out Of the Corner of My Eye" refers to my reliance on peripheral vision to frame and compose my shots. Though legally blind, my images demonstrate my drive not to let this limit my pursuit of creating beaurtiful photographic fine art.

I am a fine art photographer originally from Erie, PA and now residing in Bluffton, SC. I have pursued photography as a hobby since the early 1980's but became more serious about it in 2006. Since then, I have entered my works regularly in photo contests and exhibits. Several of my photographs have earned awards in competitions and I am honored that my works are displayed in the homes and offices of family, friends and buyers at exhibits..

I have lost most of my central vision to macular degeneration and have been legally blind since 2011. I rely on my peripheral vision to compensate and I now frequently take shots that I literally saw "out of the corner of my eye".
